Help lowered car need advice

I recently lowered my 15 Ls with h&r springs with the 1.4f and 1.3r. I currently have 22x9 with 255-30-22 fronts and 22x10.5 with 293-35-22 rears. The rears look so perfect on the car but the fronts are a bit to thin for my liking. I was looking into some 255-35-22 but they are so expensive and I found 265-35-22 way more affordable. Can anyone chime in and let me know if 265-35-22 will work or will it be to tall of a tire and rub?

Thanks camaro riders,

Mike

265 tire on a 9" rim won't be a problem. It'd be a good fit. Don't think you'll rub, but then you're wearing 22's and I'm just not 100 percent sure on that.

There's allot of things that will determine for sure biggest of which is your tire offset, but I would say your pretty safe going with a 265 at least width wise. I run a 275 with a 1.4 inch drop with no issues. Height wise hopefully someone else will chime in to be sure but I think your safe because the second number is tire height which is the same on both tires..

not sure how much more coilovers would be but you'd avoid this issue

As far as height goes your fronts are currently 28.023" tall. Your rears are (I assume you meant 295/35/22) 30.129" tall. Your proposed front tires would be 29.303" tall. That number is closer to the height of the rears, so that would be an improvement and should be good to go. I've never ran wheels/ tires that tall on my car so I don't know about rubbing.

Those rims make the rotors look tiny.
