If you're dad can get the most out of the car, you really don't stand much of a chance, x10 from a roll. In the quarter you can definitely post similar times, but at the end of the day it's still a lambo

If he actually launches the car, it's a low 12/high 11 second car bone stock. However, you'll be hard pressed to find a Gallardo owner that will really launch it. The traps tell the story. . .

those times are misleading. Youll need AT LEAST 550hp to keep up. Probably more due to aerodynamics even but that depends on how fast youre trying to go. Handling a 520hp car that weighs 3450lbs probably takes some practice, which it seems most supercar owners dont have much practice times under their belts. With 520hp the Gallardo probably traps close to 120mph, which means it pulls substantially harder and should be capable of 11's

And don't forget it's AWD. Much easier to hook off the line.

Lol @ someone thinking that they can realistically hang with a Gallardo in a stock SS.

On Dragtimes, a Gallardo did the 1/4 mile in a longer time than a slightly modified SS.. So yes, the Camaro beat it.
It isnt a joke, but either the lambo driver was either horrible or something is up.

What's the gearing on ths Lamborghini? Maybe it is geared for top end and not for the 1/4 mile. I have no idea but it seems strange to me that the camaro is that close. Also, as stated, the Lamborghini times could probably be improved if the driver was worth a damn. Let's face it, people that buy Lamborghinis don't generally take the to the track. More like the country club.

what youre doing is comparing best possible scenario with the camaro vs. worst possible scenario with the lamborghini. Thats why it looks close to the untrained eye

That's exactly what's happening. The idea that a stock or slightly modified SS can keep up with or beat any type of modern Lambo is a pipe dream.

so what if your dad uses 325 drag radials in the 1/4? and he runs mid-low 11's. a gallardo will slow drop back from a Z06. thats a 505hp heavy early gallardo.
