There are some areas, like braking...where the Camaro excels. Then you've got specific things, like the MotorTrend fig. 8 and slalom, where the Camaro posted better times than the LS3 Corvette.

...but I can't imagine describing that by saying it "outperformed" the vette.

Sounds like the guy really likes the Camaro.

But on a side note...for about half of that $20k difference between a 1LT Vette and a 1SS Camaro? I can get it to "outperform".

The obvious truth is that your dealer was once an auctioneer and develops a strange tendency to fill any gap of silence with arbitrary discussion that makes no sense.
