21.2mpg... not bad at all!

Interesting that this car has the black cloth door and dash inserts just like the IOM in Canada as well as the Yellow 2LT they had at the Jacksonville auto show.

Nice to see a closeup on the 4 Pack cluster. And 21 mpg! Not bad (for a light foot i imagine!)

The only one in person I have seen was the silver 2ss with IOM interior at the san jose carshow about 2 months ago, and it was locked and guarded. Im #1 and have one coming as soon as they can build it at courtesy and expect that to be the first time sitting in a camaro, other then Bumblebee 2 years ago which got me kicked out of that show LOL.

And Who noticed the SS on the tach gauge but not the speedo gauge?

wierd so are we or are we not getting them, ive seen with them as a
stamped ss and now this ones silver, and with none, any insight>

I would think the mpg is better than this. This 21.2 mpg that is shown is just driving around stop and go streets. The interstate is when you see the real mpg. When you toggle to instant mpg thats when you know how good it is. My estimate for average mpg is probly around 23-24 mpg.

I am confused, This one has the Black roof mouldings, I thought those were only on the LS.... Is this a 1SS or 2SS? with what it has on it it looks like a 2SS to me.

The GM rep said he gets about 22 mpg. The exhaust sounded tame, very tame, in my opinion. I am seriously thinking about adding the headers and Borla Exhaust (dealer add options) so it is covered under GM warranty and part of the purchase and beefs up the sound (and HP). The GM rep said the exhaust tone is louder and nice inside the car when driving, than outside. Stereo sounded very good. I heard it when the sales people were messing with it. GM rep said the car drove great and comfortably on the way back from Michigan.
The seats were extremely comfortable and everything seemed to be placed very well. Trunk was ENORMOUS.

On a manual transmission what is being measured by the Trans Temp Guage?

Oh Yeah - there is a USB port in the center console (with the lid on it) for a thumb drive/iPod, etc...
