ZL1 Resale Value?

I know this is premature, but so are most of the topics here...

the 5th gen camaros have enjoyed an outstanding resale value up to this point, but it appears the market is starting to adjust...as its bound to sooner or later.

How much will that 1-2 year old ZL1 with less than 10,000 miles be worth?

Im guessing it could be a rather steep decline.....

ZL1 RESALE VALUE

I have been buying new cars since 1965------to many to count-----don't EVER BUY A CAR and try to figure out Resale Value----ITS A LOSING PROPOSIION in 99% of the Cases.... I can count on my hand the cars I made money on......
Believe it or not the one that sticks out in my Mind is the Smart Car--that I had for 30 Days and made $2000.00 on a $20,000 Sales Price...10% isn't bad......
Just enjoy the car---and if you have to worry about Redale re think what you are doing......Its a Losing Proposition... Harvey

it will be worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Ask for the moon.

I recently read an article stating the GT500 is enjoying a 70% resale value. Who knows, this might be comparable to future ZL1's.

Someone was trying to convince me just how unrealistic this car is. Then I suggested they switch their Rolls Royce out for a Mercedes. Of course NOT! (Or did I ask them to switch out their Accord for a Civic?) LOL. Just enjoy and respect what you have. Take care of it. I think, for some, the ZL1 will be an extension of their being, for others it will be chattel. That's what makes the world go round and round!

Thats where I was coming from.....The used SLP's dont seem to be commanding top resale. It appears if you really want to sell your SS the asking price better start with a 2.

How much in a year or two? Depends how many are sold, to whom, and how many languish in Inventory, then... If New ones have rebate$, expect Used ones to plummet...

"Heresy"? There's incentives on ZR1 Vettes...who'da thunk?!

I'd consider an SLP as modified vs being factory original. Despite their mfr agreement. Thus, if it ain't original from factory, it just won't have the "intrinsic value" a factory produced car will. IMHO

If we compare the competition, you can get a 2011 GT500 with PP and Nav for about 43k.

When gas goes to $5.00 gallon, I bet you'll be able to get just about any performance car for a good price.
