Jack Junkies in Plano- highly recommended!

For any of y'all who live in the Plano area, there is a shop called a Jack Junkies, located on Pano Parkway just East of 75. It's a DIY shop, where you can rent a bay/lift and work on your car! I've been there quite a few times since it opened at the beginning of the year, and the owner tells me he doesn't get many Camaros so I wanted to spread the word on how awesome this place is!! Today I installed my drop springs there, going in, I had no idea how to do the install, but I had a tech there teach me how to do it, and after 4 hours my springs are in. It cost about $150 total, but not only did I get the install finished up, but I also learned how to do it on my own. This places is full of awesome people who love cars, and if any of y'all are looking for a place to do some installs either on your own or with a bit of help, there is no better place!

Here is the site:

And if you're in Denton!

Much smaller operation, but basically the same pricing and features.

Thanks for the tip Aubrey64. I'm through that area fairly often but never noticed it before. Google Maps street view shows a blue building with an Xtreme Collision sign out front. Is that shop still there or is that what Jack Junkies has replaced?

12 - 13 years ago when I was in a couple of different car clubs we'd organize "installapaloozas", usually in members driveways and on a couple of occasions a member's shop. The good thing was lots of good food, drink and bench racing, the bad thing was, no lifts. I'm about two months away for bringing home my SS and I have installa plans. Lowering springs, CAI and exhaust included. Maybe I'll stop in sometime and check it out.

I'm not entirely sure to be honest Xtreme Collision could still be there but I've never really paid attention. But jack junkies is relatively new and so it may not be in google street view yet!

Yeah the watermark on Street View showed 2012.

I'm reading here on the board that it's probably not a good idea to go lower than 1.5 inches so that's what I'm going with. ADM Performance sells and installs them, and LG Motorsports does the same. LG recently moved his shop/store from Wylie to Plano, but I haven't stopped by there yet.

I installed BMR 1.2" it makes a pretty big difference in my opinion, the huge wheel gap has disappeared, which was my main goal! And I would for sure be willing to help you out with the install!

Yeah you're right, and of all the research I did I heard the same thing. Apex chase and BMR both told me that they don't recommend anything lower then 1.3 for a V6 with stock setup. Once you go past 1.3 that's when you need to start adding higher quality suspesnion parts
