$5.99 sunvisor "WARNING" mod

Here is a quick and easy way to cover up those bright and ugly warning signs on the sunvisor.

Purchase one sheet of flat or matte black vinyl on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FLAT-...d=p3911.c0.m14

I cut out two pieces measuring 2 1/4" x 9 1/4".

Positioned piece and started from one end peeling backing as I went.

The finished product is as shown:

I actually purchased matte black but think flat may also work. It looks very dark (the sticker) in the pictures due to the flash and led flash light I was using while doing it. Once in the cabin, under normal lighting, it is barely noticeable. Much better than the warning label, plus it can be removed down the line. This took 5 minutes to do and will save you from trying to peel, heat, scrap and clean the visor trying to remove the warning label completely.

I like the idea, but it just doesnt look good IMO. Either the whole visors should be covered in the vinyl (or maybe leather, sexy) or it should be removed with a hair dryer.

+1 - whole surface in vinyl, leather, carbon fiber or something...

Do you think people would be interested in leather, or suede covered visors?
For the guy that does the custom seats and interiors for my show cars this would be a piece of cake. He does full interiors and has helped me and lots of others take many first place trophys so I am 100% confident they would look great.

What do you think you guys would be willing to pay for a pair of them in your choice of colors of suede? He can do nice contrasting stitching as well.

PM me if you are interested and if I get a lot of requests I will get the info to him and see what we can do.

I'd like something that extends the full length, instead of leaving that gap between the visor and the side windows. And maybe one that extends outward when you have it to the side, so that it is actually useful in that position...
