I think the width for the 20's are 245's in the front and 275 in the back. For height do you mean ground clearance? If so I think it is 5". Sorry if that is not what you mean but I am pretty much retarded right now since I am about to pass out from hunger lol .

EDIT - ok I just am copying and pasting this from the CAMARO WIKI for 20" rims:

20 x 8" / aluminum (front)
20 x 9" / aluminum (rear)
Tires: P245/45ZR20 summer (front)
P275/40ZR20 summer (rear)

They're 20" high and 8" wide on the front and 9" on the rear.

According to a generic tire calculator:
fronts = 28.68" high & 9.65" wide
rears = 28.66" high & 10.83" wide

Have you seen it in person? Only reason I say is because I thought the same till I went out to a show and saw it. They looked really wide to me after that.

EDIT: On a side note....can someone explain to me how they get 9" out of 275mm? I know it's right...I just don't know how that works with tires.:(

Reason I ask is because every conversion I've done comes back saying 275mm = 10.8 inches

TAG, just found this on another site:

265 is 10.4 inches wide
275 is 10.8 inches wide
285 is 11.2 inches wide
295 is 11.6 inches wide
305 is 12.0 inches wide
315 is 12.4 inches wide
325 is 12.8 inches wide

And for how they got that:
1 millimeter = 0.0393700787 inch so
275 millimeters = 10.8267717 inches.

no ..dragoneye,i still haven't seen the car in person yet. maybe it's the height that fools me. since on my ws6 i have 275 40 17 ; i know by today's standard it's a small wheel diameter ,but i like the wideness of them. and i know the camaro comes with 275 too--back only- but the tire is a lot taller at 20inch. so from all the pics we see it doesn't get into my head that at 1st sight the tires are wide in the back... wonder how much g's it will pull ...do someone has an idea? .88 .90 higher or lower??? hope it will eat the curves..and oh.... did someone noticed the rear rollers on the ls7 camaro showcar at sema those wheels were gorgeous and wide at the back.. or the wheel giving me that impression..

There was a post here where someone said they read it would pull .95 or .96. I will try to dig it up. I don't know the original source though.

9" is the wheel width only. 275mm refers specifically the tire's width whose contact patch is wider than the wheel's width. The contact patch of tires are generally a bit wider then the wheels their mounted on.

After seeing the car in person the tires do have a good amount of meat on them, but me not wanting my car to blend in with the rest of the crowd will either have my stock rears widened to 11" or buy aftermarket ones so I can fit 315/35/20's which are about 12.5 inches wide but the same height as the stock tires. Looking to get some Nitto INVO's.

Is getting the stock wheel widened safe for track use?

I don't really know, but it sounds like buying aftermarket, or ZO6 wheels might be a better option if the buyer is serious about going around corners..

Even though the ZO6 wheels are staggered (I think 19" in the front, which might not fit the Brembos even though they fit the ZO6 brakes and 20" in the back) they might look weird.

Something about cutting a wheel in half, adding metal and then welding it sounds not quite as strong and not as light as a wheel made at 10-11"
