Im not sure, but I believe that liquid salt was created because conventional say washes off the road too easily and you need massive amouts to cover a road. Using the liquid (which is likely just a salt+water mix not molten pure salt) lets you use less to cover more. As for stickyness? perhaps they have an adative to make it less prone to comming off the road, which means it has to be applied less often. Anyway, the overall goal of the stuff is to reduce the impact on the environment.

Daily driver baby. Except in the winter when the salt hits the road the car goes in the garage!

yeah weve had it for a while now. actually i just saw somethign on the tv last night about using beat juice to clear ice on roads too. there isnt alot of it around but they said they are going to use it this year. apparently it will work into the -60 degree weather and the liquid salt only works to like -10. kinda weird but well see how it goes. thats why i will not drive a nice car in the winter unless its a truck.

So our friends in winter-wonderland don't have to worry about driving their Camaro's in the snow afterall.

I would not want to be in a bad collision with this car. Looks like if a lot of you already had the 5th gen it would be parked from now till Spring time. I guess the only good thing (well a couple) about parking a car for a while is lower milage and the first day out of the garage for the year--the excitement |
