Help me with ZL1 purchase

Hi guys,

So within 2 weeks I will be living in Dallas Texas (moving from Sweden) and it is about time to start reading up on my opportunities for acquiring a ZL1 that I will use while being in the U.S. and potentially bring with me home the day I am going home again.

So far I've been looking in to buying it brand new from a dealer, but I would also like to look in to the option of buying a used one to see the difference in price.

So to start with; Where on the Internet would I go to browse for used ZL1's? I am looking for either a 2013 or 2014 model.

One other deal is that in Sweden we're using km/h, and I know you can swap from Imperial to Metric in the DIC, but what about the analog speedometer gauge? Is my only option to get hold of a canadian built one?

Thanks a million for helping me out!

And if anyone knows of a used one in Texas area that is for sale, please hook me up

OK so far so good, but that means it will show incorrect values on the gauge right?

Because in km/h it would go up to 300-something km/h, while on mph it would be much less.

How would that cope?

When you switch from imperial to metric speedo, the needle moves to the correct speed in MPH or KM/H. The numbers on the guage don't change, the needle does.

If you want a super deal for a 2013 black vert with over 750 HP and only 4,000 miles, look up Gen=5 on the forum. To many mods to list here. He's currently asking $54,000. You won't find a better deal and he lives I think around Houston.

correct, so a Canadian zl1 displaying miles per hour would go up to an unattainable number, and the american zl1 displaying km/h would max out the analog speedometer before the car reaches top speed
