White LED for DRL's

I'm thinking of changing the color of my stock RS DRL's. I don't really like the yellowish color and would prefer something closer to the HID headlights. Is my best bet putting white LED bulbs in? Which ones are best? I see some come with a harness that keeps the lights on at night, which I don't want. I still want them to turn off when the headlights come on.

The P13W Plasma bulbs look great, and they have a lifetime warranty. $90 isn't super cheap, but I think they make the car look so much better (as opposed to the stock bulbs).

Easy to install? Any issues with them running too hot or anything like that?

I went with H16 LED white, stage 3 bulbs from Diode Dynamics.

Not much is easier to install. And heat-no worries. LEDs don't generate heat like incandescents.

They switched the bulbs in 2012 so check what you have first early builds are the p13w later are psx26w.
just reach up under the bumper by wheel well (there is a small opening) and pull one out and check

Thanks for the tip. I just checked and I still have the P13W. I think I'm going to give those plasma bulbs from Phastek a try.

I went with Samsung 15 SMD LEDs and they're stunning. Not sure what the Phastek's are going to get you other than a much bigger bill.

When it says lifetime warranty what does that cover?

How are these compared to the bulbs that diode dynamics offers for $60 with free shipping?

Good questions. I don't know, but maybe someone else can chime in. I'm assuming if the bulb burns out, there will replace it.
