Sunroof on 2SS - Will I fit in the car?
I am looking at a 2017 2SS with a sunroof. I am 6'0 tall and am hearing that it will be a tight fit for me? Can anyone comment. The car is about 100 miles away so I cannot just hop in a and try it. Advice? (and no, I never plan to wear a helmet).

Nonsense, I am 6'1" at 275 and fit just fine. Don't expect anyone to sit behind you though.

I'm 6'3", haven't been able to find an SS to test fit, I did compare 2 LT's side by side, one with, 1 without. Tons of room without, a little room with, but i think it would be a no go with a helmet for me.

I'm 6'0 too, and have been in a car with and without sunroof.
In the car with sunroof; I fit fairly well, but when I put a hat on, it would lightly graze the headliner sometimes. I will say that it was one of my first looks at the camaro, and I maybe didn't give it enough time to find a sweet spot for head, legs & arms to all be happy. With some seat & steering wheel adjustment I could have probably got there. There is obviously more room in the non-sunroof version, so I had no issues at all. As you said you do not plan on wearing a helmet, I would think you will most likely be alright with a sunroof. Of course, everyones body is different, and your leg to arm ratios are going to be different, so you will probably have the seat set to a slightly different position I will. I would imagine the headroom will be the same in a turbo or V6 car with a sunroof - maybe you can sit in one of those instead? Or check out a different dealer in your town/city? |

6'1" about two inches of headroom but the seat is even raised a bit.

6'3" with a sunroof and long torso, no issue. With a helmet my posture has to be revised to remain where I want to be in the car, however that's just preference! You'll fit great!

I am 6'4" and my head touches in the sunroof cars. Please sit in one before you buy! No issues for me in convertible though!

I'm 6'3", mostly legs, and my head touches in a sunroof-equipped car. It is definitely worth the drive to look at the car, but be prepared for a tight fit. Outward visibility is by far the worst thing about the Gen. 6 Camaro; it feels like sitting in a tank.

I'm 6 ft, I have a sunroof and when I let me hair grow out it touches the roof, but for me the car feels like they made it just for me. I did not have the same feeling sitting in a 5th gen. 2SS with the blind side and backup camera are IMHO a must.
