DUAL MODE EXAHUST
I posted this question last week in the camaro motorsports discussion and have yet to get an answer,so maybe it was in the wrong place.I used to race superbikes, and one track i never got to do was Laguna Seca.I am going to be doing track days with my 1LE. Laguna Seca has a decibel limit, i think 92 or 93. Does anyone know what decibles our 1LES will be putting out at full throttle? Oh yeah, here's a really cool pic.

I placed a order for a 1le today and went for a test drive with the npp exhaust. I don't know about decibels but that is one sweet exhaust note.

A decibel limit on a race track? That's just not right.

Don't know how many decibels it puts out but I would imagine it should be fine. What kind of race track has a decibel limit? Only in California. With all the cars that have been on that track it doesn't make sense to have a limit. Maybe it's only for certain times.

You have to think like Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle. There's a decibel limit for jet engine noise after 10pm in San Jose. He just pays the fine.

Yes im sure it has to do with the snobs in wine country,i mean MotoGP runs there and they certianly blow the noise barrier off the chart.

I'd have to imagine that if the dual-mode exhaust is street-legal, then it will definitely meet the decibel requirements for a racetrack.

I run the OEM dual mode with Kooks LT headers & hi flow cats. I also run a mild 2 wild controller. The two modes are loud and daddy that hurts my ears. I was surprised how loud it can get. I have not measured the dB levels yet.

One of the reviews of the 1LE had a db level listed. I will see if I can find it. It was in the last week that I saw it.

Many tracks i go to have decible levels.... U will be fine with the npp. It is loud and nice but nowhere close to race cars meeting those levels.
