How did this stuff go on? Was it thick or can you do it in fine coats?

Nice bro I havent seen this used on the camaro wheels till now. I have used them on my tailight bezels but never thought of using them on rims. One thing I do wonder is if its possible to do the fascia blackout with plati dip?

However, won't the rubberized paint on the lug nut surfaces reduce or hinder the affectiveness of a properly torqued nut? The paint must not be that good for fasteners. It's like having a thin rubber washer between your nut and surface?
Every other time I have used it I tighten the lugs down and take them completely off and blow out the stuff that comes off and then retorque them. Never had a issue.

Like I said when you first spray it your gonna say oh F**** what did I do. Because it looks like its gonna be runny everywhere and seems to go on really thick but after it dries it actually went on thin. I did double coats as in a 2nd coat right after the first. I counted it as 1 coat though. But best advise is to either dont look at it til its dry or test it out on other stuff first and get used to how it goes on. If you have pliers without grips on the handles this stuff is great for that too. Its actually its intended purpose. But I like to use things other than what they are meant for because it usually works out and I save a decent amount of money. My nephew just happened to find this one first. There are a ton of youtube videos of it being used as well.

Any pics of the wheels on the car yet?

I have a can of plastidip I got a while back that I was using for something else. Now I'm thinking of doing the trunk blackout with this instead of using the stick ons.

Looks real good! I wonder how this would work on the trim pieces around the shifter?

I wonder if it will be too cold to do this over the weekend? It should be 35 or so. I would spray the wheels in the garage though. Thinking about doing the bezels too. I don't want to remove the rear bowtie though. Ive had a few years of professional painting, but never used this stuff. I already have 2 cans, I think im going to need 4.

Is 35 degrees outside too cold for this?

Most spray on paints have a recommended temperature rating on the can so, for a definite answer, check that out. My general knowledge of spray painting is that it needs to be at least 55* out.
