Helo HE851 vs Giovanna Kilis

Been looking at these two wheels and just cant decide.

I am curious if anyone knows what the weight of each of these wheels is in the 20 x 10 form.

If they are essentially the same as the OEM wheels, or less, then weight isnt an issue... I dont need ultra-light forged racing wheels to drive my kids to school.

At any rate, I am looking for actual data, not speculation. I have called a couple local dealers and neither of them have the wheels in stock to weigh them and would have to call Helo to get the info I am looking for.

Anyone have any data on these wheels? specifically: the weight of them in 20 x 10 size?

Helo = truck wheels. They will be heavy, as they are designed to accommodate towing capacity. Usually requires thicker spoke profiles and thicker hoop areas.

I don't think my Kilis is that far from OEM. I like them.

Helo has over 12 different passenger car wheels made for cars. The 851 is an asome wheel in black. Verry deep lip too. I have a few sets of 22"s at my shop. I can weigh one tommarrrow if you would like (22")

sure, that would be great! I love the deep lip on those rims...
also (in addition to the weight), would you be able to tell me if the 20's will fit on the SS?

those 851s are nice! what size is the lip on the 10"? can you put 10" wide on the front too?

I am afraid to get my head/heart set on the 851's until I can find out more info on them. Cant find anyone local that has them and havent gotten any word back from anyone I have asked about them here.

I am definitely diggin them though... would have been REAL nice to have at the rod run this weekend...

www.theworldofwheels.com says the 851 will fit the SS Camaro...

Lets see what they look like too! that should help finish off your decision. My understanding with Helos (I was looking into them for some time) is that they are a bit heavy usually running like 39 LB a wheel and those were 20"

I am loving the deep rim ... I didnt think I would, I have had my heart set of some Kilis... but that deep dish look just keeps coming back to me.

OK, I spoke to the manufacture of the Helos today. They do make the HE851 in the correct offset and bolt pattern for the Camaro. However, because of the curve of the spokes they say it will not clear the Brembos. There system says it will not fit, but they have not physically test fitted the wheel on the Camaro. I do not have the wheel in the right bolt pattern instock, but I am getting a set in latter this week to test fit it on the Camaro. I am doing this because i have had alot of intrest in this wheel on the Camaro. Would you guys like me to test a 20" or 22"? I'm shure if a 20" fits a 22" will. We will keep you posted.

does it hang on the roller skates or the caliper its self? I will gladly get new pads for those Helo wheels.
