2010 intake converted to 2012
I've heard of some people changing their 2010 K&N intakes so they fit the MAF sensor on the 2012 lfx camaros. Anybody that could maybe explain this to me a little and save me a few $$$? Would be very greatly appreciated!

The MAF housing is different on the LLT than the LFX. Those that have done it cut the opening for the LLT MAF housing opening larger to accommodate the LFX MAF.

yup plus the screws for 12's are alil off from the 11's ..
if you decide to do the cutting your gna also need silicone to seal it all personaly ide go safe and not mess with the MAF

I cut a spectre cold air intake that I used on a 2010 and adapted it to the lfx maf...now I've disconnected the maf and the check engine light wont go on. Its been working fine so I don't think it matters, or does it?
