That would be a beast V6....but would the same fueling issues occur when you throw ported heads/cams into the SC mix at 6 psi?

Man...a bit off topic and a bit of a rant.... but how in the heck did they get a SC'd Mustang V6 to run into the 10s?? Thats what I want to know. I guess its all due to our direct injection, and complicated tuning keeping us out of the 11s so far (not including nitrous which is into the 11s)

Mucho respect as always for your guys paving the way for us!

I'm thinking yeah probably will still be running into fueling issues with stock pulley and cams/ported heads. The fueling issue still needs to be worked out. With more and more talent working in it, I'm positive it can be sorted out.

I'm happy 400+ at 6psi's of Twin Titties (lmao) for now. Just have to patch somethings up. I also wish someone would release some piston already.

Yes we would still have a fueling problem more air needs more fuel. As for the Mustang it is like 400 Lbs lighter than us stock to stock, and they never stopped making the Mustang, the Camaro went out of production for a long time. also most of the american aftermarket is "stuck in the past" when it comes to new technology in engines, but that should change soon with the new gen-5 DI LS V8s. I still think tuning is our BIG problem.

Well i guess you all know how bad my car was running all week,me and Gretchen did what we could to get the car running,we thought we might of had it fixed this morning but no luck, you guys dont know how disapointed I am about how bad my car was running ,but it is what is.I lined up against the IPF car going into it knowing they where going to smoke me,knowing how bad my car was running, but that was the match up alot wanted to see.My best time was 14.3@ 96 mph after that it just kept getting slower some runs i could only get 80 some mph.

Keep your head high man....we all appreciate what you are doing. Hope you can get it all figured out...if not at least we know the basic pulley seems to be working well enough, although I know the idea of "downgrading" to 6psi max probably isn't as great news to you.

Yeah thanks KMP.I dont know if i can go back to the standard pulley now.I really wanted to be mid 12's this week ,but just wasnt going to happen,I couldnt even get out of the 14's ,I bet if i got a 1ss LS3 with cam, headers and a tune i could make the mid 12's easy

I feel for ya Smoke, and I bet before you actually started racing it felt pretty good because of the more boost you're building down low. I know that's what it was like for me. Then once I got on the drag strip and could really open it up I was pretty disappointed when I got into the higher rpms and the fuel system would fail. It's just so frustrating knowing your car has the potential but this stupid fuel system issue is holding us back..

Now my question is where's your tune out? I know you were kinda going on the fly with the tune. Have you heard back from Vince at all? I'm just curious if the car isn't completely tuned yet for the meth OR if the meth isn't solving our issue? Also how's the MAF sensor? Did the larger MAF tube solve the issue? I guess my question is, is the tune straightened out or does it still need to be adjusted?

Also how'd Gretchen's runs go?
