2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS Police Car

As featured on homepage.

Check out this video of a 2010 Camaro police car being fully outfitted by Southwest Public Safety. For an unmarked look, police strobes have been fitted behind the front grill, at the top of the rear window and in the rear bumper. And a radar unit is incorporated into the A-pillar and its speed readout sits atop the rear view mirror.

This is an actual police car which will be use for active service in Zavala County, Texas.

Enjoy!

P.S. is there someone who can teach me to embed the video into the page? TNX =)

Honestly I'm disappointed with that car. Their lighting mods are too subtle and dim, especially from the front. I would probably not pull over for that car, especially not at night. The lights look like something anyone with a basic understanding of electrical work and some RadioShack parts could do.
Cool find though, wonder who the lucky cop is that gets to cruise around in that thing all day.

Jalopnik got it right, this car would be one scary mofo in the rearview.

Its an unmarked, what do you expect. Lights seemed bright enough to me. Almost had epileptic seizures watching it.

My tax dollars don't need to go toward HIDs or painted roof ditch moldings. Police cars should be both a functional means of catching violators of the law and a deterrent from trying to get away.

Probably an off duty cop car... I doubt it belongs to the department

Now they'll need to raise the ticket quotas to pay for it

Thumbs up

I though the Charger was a mean looking cop car when that came out. But, the Camaro just plain looks NASTY!!!
