A friend with a snow blow is a good friend to have- especially if you have a big driveway!! It was funny slamming down a Stella and watchin him clear the driveway down to the pavement. First time I ever had someone plow my driveway.

I stuck my head out my back door and snapped this pic, amazed that it came out.... as the other pics were of swirling flakes trying to eat me....

had to clear a path for our dog off the deck, or he'll find a quite corner on the deck and leave me a present....fickle freakin' dog. cleared the front steps too...a bit too early to fire up the snow blower I thinks, neighbors wouldn't appreciate that racket at 6-7 in the morning....but come 8, tough titty says I, gonna go get my driveway back!

We have power and when I went out to shovel the first wave there was 18" of snow, granted we are down in between two buildings with a lower level condo.

Wow, no power must suck in this.

Here are three pics taken from my basement that put this snowfall in prespective. These windows are about two inches off the ground, and are two feet high.... and covered in snow.

Same deck table from last night:

and again @ 1PM today w/ snow still falling:
