Snow Performance or others

Has anyone seen any gains in HP or Torq using Meth/water injection in the V6 NORMALLY ASPERATED engine?

Don't think anyone has actually installed a water/meth kit here.

Seeing the incredible results the guys are getting with E85, i would think you could get very similar results with a water/meth kit and tune. I think it would be a good option for guys who don't have E85 available to them...

Tons of guys running water/meth on here. I spray a 50/50 mix. E85 would be a viable alternative as mentioned.

N/A? Why bother? The turbo 6 on here uses meth I believe.

Because guys here are seeing HUGE gains by just switching to E85, even though they are just NA. Guys who don't have access to E85 should be able put in a water/meth kit and see similar gains.

With straight meth I could it giving big gains. On a N/A application I might just go with a small shot of Nitrous. IAT's a problem on the 6?

Most folks on here are myself included are using water/meth to help control IAT's on boosted applications.

LLT appears to have some knock even with Premium fuel. E85 is allowing the guys to run more timing with no knock... The main purpose behind water/meth on the LLT would be to increase the octane, cooling would be a secondary benefit..

N2O is not as street friendly, and in fact is illegal on the street in most states. For a daily driving a water/meth setup would be a lot more ideal for non-track use...

I didn't know the LLT had knock on 93?? I was assuming the OP was tracking the car. Seems like allot of trouble just to go the speed limit if your concerned with being legal. GL, someone should just take the plunge and post the results

Not sure if we can turn the same power as we did on e85 with meth kit on our n/a engine. One problem is that the major bump in hp while on e85 came from the ability to increase effective compression and valve timing. We ran from 32-40+ total wot timing on the dyno and it barely showed 4hp difference. Countless hours of road dyno/time test showed that the car does not like to be pushed over 28 degrees of total timing on wot. I think meth injection will help reach maximum factory timing but I think the biggest plus to use the kit would be to suppress knock more than anything.
