Guys, let's not make this another V6 vs. V8 debate. Both are great and have their bennies.

From OP I still haven't heard a convincing argument for not getting the V6. Because you can get an SS in black. The do make LT's in black also you know. As for the more power argument, what are you going to do with it if you have it? If you can answer that in a logical way then go with the SS but not because of color.

but black makes it go faster cause black is all colors combind so its SUPER PAINT much like stripes adds 10 hp

The V6 is plenty powerful for a 16 year old. They run great.

Here is something for you to consider.... How often will you be able to go full throttle in your SS compared to how often your just cruising and folks checking out your ride.

The V6 camaro is a performer and loaded would look great.

OP.. This is what my parents gave me. Except image it 10 years older with rusty fenders and mushrooms growing out of the carpeting in the back seat. You'll be fine with either Camaro.
