Anyone interested in factory leather (SS)? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm gonna be installing custom leather upholstery when I pick up the car next month. This means that I'll have no need for the factory leather, except to maybe hang onto it for years down the road.

I was thinking about selling the factory leather for 800-900 bucks.
They are black, SS seats. With the exception of a couple of test drives, they are brand-new, unharmed.

The custom seats are gonna run me about $2500, so I figured I'd just sorta cut the price of the factory goods in half.

I pick up the car during third week of April. If anyone's interested, they can shoot me a message.

Hmmm!

We gotta chat. I'm going to rebuild my 68 RS and I was planning to put 69 seats in the car, because of the head rest protection but now you goy me thinking.

I bet you I could make them fit.

hmmm i wouldnt mind this ... but... katzkin said they would do customized 2 tone for 1300 and those are super nice... but lemme think about it

68RS... Understand that it's not the full seats.. just the leather.
I wouldn't wanna mislead you! lol

CloudXTC... Katzkin is actually what I'm going with.
I have to fulfill a duty to get a black Camaro with white leather seats (see my avatar).
I hear it's a great product. If it wasn't for this obsession of mine, however, I'd be just as content stickin with the "factory threads".

When I called the local installers, they quoted me $2600 for the leather installed. I never did ask what the price of the leather was without instalation. $1300 aain't bad!

You can absolutely install it yourself with some time and a buddy to help keep you entertained. I installed some Katzkin last weekend, and it looks amazing!!!

HOW HARD WAS IT TO INSTALL I JUST GOT MINE FROM LEATHER SEATS .COM AND THEY ARE NICE SOME PLACES WANT LIKE 400 TO INSTALL.

I didnt do the install. There's a local upholstery shop who are also certified Katzkin installers. I left it to the pros.
