New Project - Check it out
Hello Everyone,
Great job on this forum, users here give you the low down on everything and anything about Camaro's. Keep up the good work. Administrators are also doing a kick ass job on keeping this organized and sane. Enough, just purchase a 2011 Camaro SS - Looking for opinion and suggestions on bringing this car back to factory. Does anyone know what kind of kit this is? All comments are welcome. See the pictures and comment. Thank you. CamaroProject |

Just my opinion but that looks like a lot of work...Insurance didn't want to fix it cause it will cost way to much... Good Luck

When you say "bringing it back to factory" are you asking for directions to Oshawa?
That looks like a boatload of work......if you're gonna do it all yourself and keep the car it might (stressing might) be worthwhile, but you'll never get your money out of it.

You might be better off using as a parts car, or selling off parts.....

Does it run?
No idea on the body kit. Hood looks aftermarket, and probably carbon fiber. If it's straight, the hood alone is worth quite a bit new. Hurst short throw shifter. Headlights are aftermarket. Wheels are stock and look plastidipped. The body kit is the worrisome bit, to me. Looking at the gas filler door, it looks like it's recessed into the after market panel / fender flare, which indicates, to me, that when you pull it off there will be some paint necessary. Got any under hood pics? Good luck regardless. I knew someone in high school who spent most of his time getting a 928S4 back to nearly showroom after he bought it on a salvage title. He still has that car, and it still runs great. You've got a lot of work ahead of you, but the end result could be pretty rewarding. |
