You are 100% correct. I overlooked the c5 in that post. It's the c6 that goes right on. My bad, gd catch!

C6 wheels are the way to go. I found a screaming deal on C5 Z06 wheels and now I'm stuck with finding the right spacer (which I think I have) and possibly swapping out the lugs.
