Are tires covered under warranty?

Drove down 8 miles combined back and forth to my gym today. Got here about 2 hours ago, fast forward to right now and just received an onstar notification saying that my tire pressure was low. Went outside to check and it was completely flat. 0% tire pressure, not sure if it could just be parched and be good to go or if I will need a new tire completely. (I have the stock run flat tires). Are tires covered under warranty or will it have to come out of my pocket?

Also, even if tires do have a warranty, it wouldn't cover damage from nails or other puncture damage. Warranties only ever cover things that are the fault of the manufacturer.

I picked up a screw in my tire on the way home from the dealership (rear 305 wide 1LE of course).

I had to laugh.

Check your glove box. I believe your tire manufacturer warranties your tires against defects. And being suceptable to road debris is not a defect.

per Goodyear, yes you can. They have a bulletin out that states that their runflat tires can be repaired once as long as it is not in the sidewall or the last outer tread block on each side, same as any normal tire.

As said the OEM tires are warrantied by GY for manufacture defects, you can though go down to Discount Tire and buy the tire warranty from them for the tires if you want. A lot cheaper than the 3rd party warranty the dealer offers.

I spend about 500 bucks for a complete tire and rim protection package with our dealer on every car. It has paid for itself over and over again. My Camaro had a flat on Christmas Eve. New tire since it couldn't be patched. It protects my rims too.

I just took my car in to a goodyear center for a screw in my front tire. They were going to patch, but found the screw was to close to the edge. Good news is they pro-rated my tire as it only had 1100 miles on it, so my replacement was 175.00 out the door. But be careful of the shop, as they scratched my wheel, and are now giving me the run around on fixing it properly

Missed this comment. They can be patched if a patch applies like any other tire.
