having slp tvs2300 installed need advice

hey guys, im headed out this week to have a slp tvs2300 installed on my car, ( http://www.slponline.com/blog/2013/1...ger-2010-2014/ ) I have done some research but I would like to hear from some guys that have done this upgrade, basically are your glad you installed it? any regrets? do you feel it was worth the money? do you wish you would have went with something else? are you worried about damage to your engine? im just a little concerned and want to make sure im doing the right thing and would like to know what you guys thought after you installed it, thanks for any input you can give me...

No regrets... you will love it. I have an LS3, but with the same mods I did about 550 at the wheels. Its like owning a different car now.

Good starting point. lol. Built from there to E85 & pulley'd down to 10 psi, custom tune.

You will be happy.

Love mine as well, worth the money for sure. Very dependable unit as well. I have the "older" style with the jack shaft. The whistle from the rear cog drive sounds bad ass

thought the Magnuson and TVS2300 had clearance issues on 2014 1LE

Congrats - who's doing your install?

Also, will the SLP fit under the stock 14 SS hood? I do remember reading somewhere that it won't as the 14 SS hood sits lower than the 10-13 hoods. That is why when I have the funds ready, I'm either going with the Edelbrock E-Force or a Procharger (as I had one on my old Vette and loved it.)

For the 2014 model, SLP will have a new heat extractor that will clear the SLP supercharger

But will that be for an extra cost? The SC is pricey enough (plus install charge for those of us that aren't DIY'ers) and not looking to spend more $$ to make a certain system work while there are other options out there that fit.

Find a mechanically inclined friend to help you install it. It is really not that hard and when your done you will feel great.
