LED - Under the hood lighting

Has anyone installed or had installed any LED underhood lighting? If so where did you have it done and do you like it? I am looking for recommendations etc. I am looking into perhaps having it done so I am beginning to dig for info.

Thanks!

Yea I have lights in my grill area. I installed it all myself, which was really easy. I obtained all my LED lights from SJMAUTOPROD. He is a vendor here on C5. His customer service is the best hands down. He helped me on a sunday and even gave me his personal number in case I had any more questions. Let me know more specifically what you want and maybe I can help further.

SJMAutoprod sells LED lights that replace the retaining clips for the hood liner. I have pics of them in my build thread.

How'd you do your lights in the 6 little sections on the engine cover? Does it have a diffuser on are there just a few LEDs popping out of it?

Dremel the ports open, install 2 single leds in each port.

I got LEDGlow underhood led lights. They aren't as bright as I would like.
I finally moved them to the front grill area, but had to remove them when I got my car in Va. Cause they had gotten turned on and I couldn't turn them off with the remote.

I am trying to decide if I want to re install or get something brighter. They are mulit color lights, that flash and all that. But its hard to see unless its night time.

Here is a video of when I first installed them. Some in the engine bay and some in the front grill. (( The video is pretty dark, used a phone camera))

And here is a link to my car's facebook page that has some picks of when I moved all the lights into the front grill.
