I'm not sure by reading the article the driver would even make it and if he does he might have some serious health issues

I'm sorry but you choose to get in a vehicle with someone driving drunk you put your life in their incapable hands. Had that person been in another vehicle I would consider that innocent.

Poor Camaro.

Nope, I disagree with you...water seeks it's own level! The deceased may have only been the passenger, but I'd bet my bottom dollar he was as drunk as the driver, and both friends were having a great time together up until....! ! !

Let's just be thankful no one else sober on the road was killed.

Look at the impact its just behind the drivers door and he lived. I bet the passenger was not wearing a seat belt. You can show the young all the crash pics, tell them all the stories and some will have to find out the hard way if they live.

He didn't have to drink and drive. He was stupid enough to do it, and endanger his passengers life, he deserves the outcome.

Poor Camaro.

Some people have to learn the hard way... hope the driver has guilt for what life he has left.

He was drunk and did something stupid. It's very unfortunate that someone had to die. But at least it wasn't an innocent person that died or was injured.

His passenger, 21-year-old Fernando Soto, died at the scene.
Since when is being a passenger make you guilty? Poor judgement by getting in the car with someone who had been drinking, but Guilty, punishable by death?
WTF?
