Well as for me I love my stripes and I fell that if I didn't have them I would want them. As for cyber gray vs black.... I have cg stripes and sometimes I think about having them changed to black sometimes but I love the way how it is with cg it's really up to u. I would go w stripes just my opinion

well ,i dont know what i wish LOL

mine doesnt have stripes and i think it looks great,very classy.

but i have a set of matte black hood spears with the SS cutout,
ill probably put them on soon,i think they will look sweet on the green.

i also have some custom rally stripes im planning on putting on in the summer,

that is,
if i dont like the look of the hood spears too much to part with them LOL


so i say your best bet would be to get a bunch of pics of SGM cars

with/without stripes/hood spears and see which you like better.

I love my stripes. I believe if it didn't come with them I would have put them on or at least something to break up all the green, like putting the spears on the hood. Either way you are picking a great color and will get a lot of compliments for it.

i pushed mine to 6k on the ride home from the dealers,

gotta break em in under a load if you expect to get the most power out of them,

i used darin morgan's break-in procedure ,

and my car is a complete BEAST now!!!!

I found a link to a database on this forum that showed how many SGM 2011 cars were shipped to CA. Then I could apply filters to the results like (MT, SS, RS etc.). I will try and find this link and post it.

It has been raining constantly here in Northern Calif and I have to drive my baby sensibly (yuck). I sure like just driving around and seeing the response of people. This color sure catches everyone's eyes. I even had an old couple complement on this car (they loved the color).

Can't wait for the streets to dry so I can break her in using your suggested method.

Its the wifes car. She wanted the factory black stripe option. At first i thought it would look better without the stripe, but not that it is in the garage the stripes are growing on me.

Cyber Gray stripes here on my 2SS/RS Hurst. The nice thing here is that because they are not flat/matte black I don't have to worry if I get wax on them and risk having them turn white. I have not seen silver on Synergy Green yet but I know they're out there and that seems to be the third option in terms of stripe color being ordered at least in my area. In terms of stripe popularity on Synergy Green this seems to be the trend. #1. Black or no stripes, #2. White, #3. Silver, #4. Cyber Gray. I think that Cyber Gray is last due to the 2010 SGM specials that were only available with CG stripes. What ever you choose get ready to be the most popular guy on the block. To quote my cousin the Sheriff Deputy. "We don't even need the radar gun for that thing, can see it coming from a mile away."

White looks great too. Thanks for all the input. Finally saw a synergy green camaro without stripes I think i am going to go with black stripes Planning on eventually getting black wheels. Will wait to see if the ssx wheels come out. If they don't will do Tsw donningtons. Synergy green is such a great color! It almost glows in the day and at night So glad they released it for all models no other colors come close!!
