This is the first one I've seen installed that I actually really like. How did you attach the bowtie to the front?

Cleancutcreations sells clips you can use to attach the bowtie.

I just used JB weld and epoxied two screws to the back of my bowtie and then made a backing plate from aluminum and bolted it on... But after seeing a pace car Camaro and see how the factory did it, I may go buy one of those mounts and reinstall mine.

I love this look the best. It would probably look good too if the section over the markers was left unpainted that way it matches the bars on the grille better.

Can we put our RS/SS tags onto the heritage or do we need new ones? Also if we need new ones will we have to remove everything again to put them on?

Even if that area was "left unpainted" the grille comes painted a matte metallic grey right out of the box, so it still wouldn't "match" the grille center bars. It could be painted matte black to match the center bars though.....that would be cool.

How did the factory mount the bowtie on the pacecar with the heritage grille? Can you explain?

It is a plastic adaptor that the bowtie snaps into then there are screws and a plate that go into the adapter from behind the grill, it works similar to how I installed my bowtie but the bowtie stands out from the grill about 3/4"

I think they look better with no bowtie, I just feel its overly large... I'm still thinking about adding the RS tag back on.
