Since I have personal experience from just buying a used one from a member on here, I'll give my 2 cents. I don't ever buy new. I've bought one new car in my life and I'm 41. I'm completely happy with my used ZL1. I only wanted black and with no engine mods. I saved a ton buying used and my car still has the new car smell inside and not one flaw anywhere. There are great used prices out there on these already and if you find one unmodified you still have the remainder of the warranty. Anyway, gotta go take a drive now since the sun is out!!!

Purchased a used 2010 LS3 with 5k miles on it in 2013, have not had a single issue with the car and have no regrets.

I bought my 2012 for $45000 otd with only 7500 miles on it. Buying used is the way to go imo.

Of course people by used.
I get your concern about not knowing ow it was treated. But with basic understanding of how the car should look you can get a very good sense. For all you know the previous owner may have taken better care of the car than you will. |

I would buy one from someone like me. It's modded yes but a garage queen, only comes out on sunny warm days. Doesn't know what a puddle or cold weather feels like. Never been to a racetrack. Has been up against a few cars that thought all it has is exhaust and out them in their place. Has 7k miles and has had 4 oil changes with 3 air filter changes. I even have the receipts and old filters from Rotofab where I have just ordered new and not got around to washing any of them. Yes I would sell mine but for a fair price no home runs here either the buyer or me. I want to start a new project and ole lady doesn't want 2 racecars in the garage.

No different than buying any other used car out there except for the fact the ZL1 was made to be abused! One of the best used cars to buy for sure due to the fact it was designed with hard driving in mind! It can take it!

Bought my 12 ZL1 with 10k for 42.5 and am totally happy!! Plus I can put 10k in mods and make it unbelievable .

I bought my 13' ZL1 with 951 miles for 48k plus taxes. I would keep looking for a better deal. Be patient. They are out there

I would say yes to a used zl1. f course every situation is different but you have to think, most zl1 owners are car enthusiasts. Its not the typical car\Camaro the average person would buy\drive. A person like this usually takes very good care, haven't seen many with high mileage so a plus. If modded heavily over bolt ons then maybe the flag comes out but a guy\gal that buys a $50-$60k+ car usually takes care of them.
