I just returned home from this show. they had a red 6cyl and a silver 1ss. I'll give a review later. I have alot of pictures too.

The real reason for my post is to tell all that I asked 2 different Chevy reps about an upcoming price increase. The first one said he had not heard of it. I mention this site to him and he was aware of it. He also knew someone that posted here who was an employee of GM and he said if he said it it's most likely true.
The second person I spoke with was definately more into the camaro and she also said there was no upcoming price increase. I ask if she was familar with this site and again she said she was and mentioned someone who posts here. I went through as may post on this price increase that I could find and I haven't seen a post from the person they both mentioned: I PM him hoping to get a response from him. The rep said there is so much false info out on this car that I shouldn't believe anything unless I'm told by my dealer himself.
Why is it so many employees and dealers are in the dark about this price increase. I noticed that this news wasn't exactly printed out on GM letter head either. If I piss someone off because I'm second guess their info well....
I have to wonder if it's true until the 9th, so if I'm incorrect I'll own up to questioning them but until then oh well.

By the way the cars beautiful!!

I am the one who posted it and you have to understand that these GM reps etc. don't have access or even if they do they don't look at dealerworld everday like we do. So unless they read the messages everyday it is unlikley that they would know.

It is real I was shown it at the dealer right on the screen. NOL300 why cant GM just list a discount using the preorder code on the sticker rather than issueing a credit to open account. Seems like a lot and I mean a lot of dealers are thinking about not passing the price guarantee on to the customers. Even RPO who is as open and honest as the day is long stated that his dealer is considering not passing it along because it could be months before they would recieve the credit. Can this be brought up via correspondence directly to GM by you guys or customers.....Bad sentence structure, potential greed,looking for loopholes to change deals,ill thought out policy to issue the credit. I am sure that it is not what GM intended when they represented to all pre-order customers would have the introductory price guarantee.

Nothing we can do but I still need to wait and see what an invoice looks like. Even with mine and the many others built I still have not been able to pull an invoice and see the actual breakdown on price. Once I see one and know how we can apply for the refund I will let you all know.

Because a lot of salesman don't have internet access...The spend too much time surfing the web than selling cars...

You can signup for a free www.photobucket.com account and upload them to that site. Then you can use the "IMG Code" links to post them in a message.

Or use the paperclip attachment feature in the advanced message mode on the forum to upload them and insert in your message.
