Eric do you know if these will clear the calipers on the SS? Also could you post a close of the scrape on the wheel?

I was told by 'Ol Friend' in the wheels section that it would clear the Brembo's. I looked around and my 35mm is the largest offset that I could find. FYI: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=198417

Also, the scrape on the passenger rear isn't very bad. I just used a sharpie to fill it back in August but you could just paint it for a permanent fix. Pro's would charge about $100 to fix it. The pic: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/album....ictureid=73184

Considering that the other wheels are in good shape, I think that this is a pretty good deal because it leaves some financial wiggle room for somebody to eventually custom paint them if they wanted to and still be near $2100 for a good set of 22's with tires.

I talked to Discount Tires today and they said that the '50k Mile Continental Tire Warranty' only applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable, but that you may still pay $36/tire for certificates that warranty:

1) Workmanship & materials from mfgr - Wheels & tires will be replaced free of charge if defective

2) Road hazard - If irreparable, they will replace the tire free of charge

These warranties are good until 3/32" or 3 years from original purchase (March 2014). Fine details here: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoCertificate.dos

For as low as I'm selling this set for, you can milk these tires for what they're worth, then buy a new set. According to Tire Rack reviews, people love these tires and have been getting around the expected 50k mile tread life out of them.

I'd try to help with that warranty but it sticks with the VIN#. These days, retailers will do anything to not shell out.
