Of course it "could" be done. The problem would be where to put it in the dash so that the driver can use it properly and yet it won't interfere with the HVAC/stereo controls. I'd have to look, but i'm not sure if there's enough room between the stock stereo info screen and the vents to put it there. Unless you were just going to use iTunes all the time, then I guess the screen could go and you'd have room.... huh... interesting idea...

I work at a stereo place. We just put a ipad in a dakota. You remove dash and molded with fiberglass. We motorized arms to come out. Hooked it up to an alpine imprint and rainbow spkers. Sounded great. I'm positive we could do it to acamaro. Took like 1.5 weeks.

Nice! very clean install on the Mustang.

There is a thread in here somewhere where someone used the magnatized folding cover that you can get for the iPad. He as able to use the center speaker to magnatize it to and then the iPad fit perfectly in place over the dash.

I wonder how long it will take for him to smash that stang up. He might as well be drinking and driving as to try and work an Ipad while driving.

This falls into the "It looks cool but in practice I think it would do more harm than good" category for me. We already have people applying makeup and texting while driving - do we really need them surfing the net as well? Kersmash.
