Great step pictures. When I switched out my cloth inserts for silver I made 2 mistakes. (1) was that a used a wide flathead screwdriver to pry off the dash trims and that left some marks on the dashboard rolled edge, (2) I broke my trunk release button. Everything else went smooth and I used my dremel tool the sand off the factory melted riveting.

Glad the DIY was able to help you guys...

I pry'd my dash pieces off begining on the sides and then worked my way towards the steering wheel - no problems or issues....

Any questions on anything just send me a PM!

Did you ever find these? I need an entire hardware set since the replacement panels that I bought from RPI Designs didn't come with anything at all. Thanks.

the cable that attaches to the door handle you will see a plastic clip, just pull it back, and it will come loose, then you can pull it out of the handle assembly

Just be careful when you put the screws in make sure you don't put a long one in the wrong place, I know, that is why I am now replacing the switch bezel when gmpartsdirect gets back to me

Great job BumbleBee and nice write up! I do have a question though...Since the panels are yellow, did your ABL lighting change colors on you? I thought I read somewhere on one of these threads that when they swapped the gray panels out for the yellow ones, that the Blue ABL's in the door changed to Green?

I am getting my panels painted Aqua Blue by the dealer and they are going to reinstall them... I wish I had seen this sooner since I've been asking about this process forever!
