Polishing Exhaust Tips

Polished these exhaust tips for my upcoming exterior detail video series.

Both of these tips were in the same condition at first. The first picture is after doing the first tip (the right one).

Products used were Adam's Metal Polish 1 and 2 and their metal polish pads.

In 5+ years my exhaust tips never got that awful looking. Clean them once a week with
just wheel cleaner and it will not be such a big deal....,. just saying.

Looks Great !!! I use Adams metal polish then put a coat of Wolfgang metal sealant and they last a good few months!!!! I use regular car wash to clean weekly----can't use anything stronger to clean as I have GFX and it would drip all over the GFX stripping my sealant/wax on that painted area.

I believe that's about 8 months worth of build up.

Roshan knows how to maintain his exhaust pipes, it's a matter of time.

I use NEVR DULL, it works very well and is inexpensive.

Agreed, that's a real good combo

Used nevr dull too and like it as well, just felt like the adam's 1-2 punch today.

Hey just curious Roshan, since you have used both, is the Adams worth the extra cost in your opinion?
I have only used the Adams shampoo and detail spray and they are both top notch products IMHO.
The "Swirly Girl" now has polished tips! Awesome!

I don't have too many experiences with a lot of different metal polishes, so I can't comment on value vs other brands, but I will say this, they work.

Nevr dull, for me, has been more of a finer abrasive. I don't think it would've worked on the tips I did today to be perfectly honest. They are great at shining metal in slight to moderate bad condition, but on heavy duty oxidation, they lack that aggressive nature needed. That's why I went with the adam's today, I needed something for heavily oxidized tips.

If you have nevr dull, you could probably skip on the metal polish #2 though.
