If you mean on the purchase of a car, the discounts they may offer won't replace haggling or an hounest salesman.

Last I checked, GMAC will pay the first months payment for all national guard members. May not be that way anymore.

P.S. - Just noticed that GM also offers a generic military discount - find it here. Filled out my form. The concept camaro was listed, so I selected that and it gave me a discount confirmation number and everything. Not sure the exact amount of the discount - it seems to vary based on vehicle. Examples can be found here.

GM Employee/ supplier / military discounts will get you to the right area to start the negotiations.... and they come from the factory so it wont hurt the dealer as much and it is easier than finding that honest salesman... (more than one ???) My cousin has a supplier discount= 2800+ off of a 30,000 msrp truck and the rebates were 3,000+, dealers can not really afford that kind of discount with out GM doing it. The dealer in Reno has the dealer sticker adding 10% to msrp, even on the Colorado 5 cylinder trucks, I will just go back to Texas and get my Camaro there.
It will be a PLEASANT surprise if either is available for the first 80,000 Camaros. come on GM!

GM discount may or may not be available on the Camaro.

I highly doubt that, the ONLY vehicle it isnt offered on is a Corvette.

Camaros are camaros and vettes are vettes.

Oh and Camaroscotty already said GM discounts would not be a problem. So if i have any trouble from anyone else, i know who i'm going to.

I filled out my form for a military discount, using the concept camaro as the vehicle choice. Gave me a confirmation number and everything. I would be highly surprised if GM doesn't honor all discounts on the camaro.

GM discounts, if offered from GM, would not be a problem....they will be honored. Some dealers will not.

The Malibu had discounts right away, so remain POSITIVE!
