Why do you need an idler pulley if you are only changing the upper pulley from 3.0 to 2.55? Are you reusing the stock belt?

A CTS-V makes a perfect sleeper car if you ask me.

A Mustang or a Camaro or a Challenger is pretty high-profile, but who would guess that this innocent-looking CADILLAC sitting next to you.........

Turn up the boost, add a cam and fresh air, etc, keep the exhaust quiet and no-one would ever know, untill it's too late.

it would be a sleeper car if it didnt have all those ground effects with the meshing and hood and ctsv badging.

While technically not required, anytime you can increase the idler size will help with belt wrap and reduce the possibility of slippage on these systems.

Question Andy: Why not go with larger crank pulley than smaller S/C pulley in order to avoid belt slipping (with smaller S.C pulley) since all the accessories run on a separate belt?

Thank you in advance!

Andy, can you tell us what's the difference between LSA cam and ZR1 cam? Why didn't GM use ZR1 Cam on LSA?
Would you suggest the ZR1 cam on this car?

Once you're finished with this car, please share the dyno. I have a friend who just picked up a new one and thinking of doing all the above, except the LT and exhaust to keep it quiet. This way I can show him the gains. His is manual and I suggested the ZR1 cam with ported head.
