Quantom of Solace : James Bond Movie

Of course nobody "spoil" the movie or anything, but what did everyone think?

I thought the opening seen was amazing! Hearing the DBS roar gave me chills. There was a ton of action and a lot of cools scenes but it just didn't feel like a Bond movie for me. It was a great movie but it wasn't a good Bond movie if you know what I mean. There wasn't as much class and it was such a fast paced movie. Every once in a while, when I was watching, I forgot I was watching a Bond movie. But it wasn't Daniel Craig's fault at all. I think he is a great James Bond.
And I just got to say. The Bond girl is smoking hot and James never "made his move" on her. I thought it was kinda odd.

What did you guys/gals think?

I saw it Saturday.

It's not quite as good as 'Casino Royale', but that movie set a very high standard. That being said, I thought it was very good and I plan on seeing it a few more times.

Also, I think Daniel Craig is the best Bond since Sean Connery.

The box office revenue's from both Bond movies might show otherwise.

having read all the James bond books i hate Craig as james bond because he (and the new directors) have taken james bond to a place that Sucks campared to the books. James bond was a quick witted Snarky Humorous "secret" agent. "Do you expect me to talk?" NO mr bond i expect you to Die...." those scenes dont have a place in today's "james bond" because it isnt real enough. Funny thing is the stories that Fleming wrote werent realistic at all, they were whimsical fantastical spy stories. Not even Thrillers, just good stories with a dry humor twist.

I haven't read the books, but I've been wanting to.

I think the latest Bond movies are trying to get away from the very unrealistic movies such as the ones with Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan which were ridiculous.

the point is, Fleming wrote these Fantastical tales when he was using his writing as an escape from his boring life working for english intelligence.
