Question about Pfadt 1.25" lowered springs with large tires
So I might have gotten a little ahead of myself. Over the weekend I got new American Racing Torq Thrust M AR105M 20x10s 34mm offset (rear) paired with Nitto Invo 315s.
I've already ordered and paid for the Stage 2 ZL kit from Pfadt, planning to install later this week or early next. Does anybody have experience with a similar setup that can help me out here? Will I see a true 1.25" drop? As you can see above it looks like I only have 1.5-2.0 inches before I'm dragging the tire.

I'm suprised that you got 315's on a 20x10. Discount tire said they would only reccomend 305's. I thought I read some where that you could machine the wheels but that might just be urban myth. Try the same post in the wheel and tire forum and you might get some better ideas than mine.

Anyway thanks for the response. I believe my ground contact is very adequate, just concerned about the fenders rubbing the tires after I lower it. Hopefully someone here has run 315s on a similar offset with the Pfadt stage 2 kit, without issue...

Might want to PM C5 member Denis. Im pretty sure he is running nurburgring 20 x 10 with 35mm offset and 315/35/20 INVOs for the rear. I believe he is also lowered on PFADT springs.
I'll be running those wheels in all 4 corners with 275 tires and the zl spec stage 2 from PFADT, but my tires will be a lot narrower than your set-up. |

Perfect, thanks Denis. It looks like your offset may be a little different, my wheels may stick out a hair farther, but it's hard to say. Looks great though.
