Adam's Detailed: Tesla Model S
Mario and I had an early morning date with a Tesla Model S... one of only a handful currently available worldwide, and the owner requested we clean it up.
Given that its hardly been used and time was short we didn't do a full correction job. Just a thorough waterless wash, 1 pass of Brilliant Glaze with a Red Gen4 Pad on the Flex 3401. Topped that off with a coating of Americana. Some touchup work was done with detail spray around the exterior and interior, otherwise this car was looking fantastic. Really impressed with how the final version of this car came out compared to the prototype we detailed awhile back (http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/cars/10447.htm) the fit and finish is amazing, the function of things like the key fob, door handles, touchscreen, etc are just all so seamless. Very impressed. |

Looks like a 20" screen turned on it's side.
Clean though, nice job guys.

Thanks for the compliments. Always a treat to touch cars like this...
2 things I want off of this car on something I own: 1) the center stack touchscreen - hvac, radio, nav, internet, it does everything! 2) the door handles (wish I had gotten video) - you touch the handle which is flush to the body of the car, and it slides out, to reveal the pull. The handle itself is machined from solid aluminum and has LED's flush mounted on the bottom side. So slick! Close the door and the handle retracts back into the door. and btw - its for sale! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Tesla...t_24139wt_1182 |

This is the first car Tesla built from the ground up, correct? The roadster is just a modded Lotus if I remember correctly.
You really need to come up to the Bay Area - I'll even pay for your hotel! If only I could get my Camaro to look so good. Maybe if you let me win that contest on the Adam's forum you can come up and present it in person! |
