"The Twin"...the rebirth of a 6-banger to the 'Twin' of my '67 Pace Car
A few here have asked, so (even though I've been working on this project for ...years), here's the start of a build thread. I'll update the progress as I move forward.
Some know that I am a huge fan of the 1st Gen Camaros, and one of the cars I restored was a '67 Pace Car... Here's a before pic And about 7 years later, I eventually sold the car back to Chevrolet, as part of the GM Heritage collection. With all the experiences I've had with that car, the involvement with Chevrolet, I have no regrets selling it, ...but have always loved that White Blue combination. Fast forward, I found another '67 convertible, 6-cylinder that I decided to build as "The Twin" to the pace car I had. Keeping most of it original, ...but modifying a few things to make it more drivable, but completely stock in appearance. Here it is the day it arrived in NY (shipped from Las Vegas where my brother lives) It looks rough, but it's a relatively solid Nevada car. So, with it sitting for a couple years (as I work full time, and attend college part time), ...I finally got a jump start and began the dissassembly... |

Paint is now complete, and progress halted for about a year. Anyone that's done a restoration will relate, ...'life' gets in the way and things will sit. The car became a 'storage bin' for parts...
Then began the disassembly again for the underside detail... |
