You need to drill holes for the half that's close to the bumper, and other half comes with an adhesive. The idea is that you unbolt half of it to remove the bumper when you need to. You can install them by themselves, but they connect to the front splitter /gurney lip and the rocker panels. You need them all for a consistent look. Finally, the rears also connect to the Z/28 rear diffuser, so you need it, too. That diffuser is very expensive, even though it's not even a real diffuser : )
