I agree, I really like the look of the black SS in the Aussie thread. So when I'm ready to buy (early 2010), if there is no word or a bad word for the Z28, I'll probably get the RS/SS and give 'em hell.

Or maybe a used GTO and blow out the credit cards

LOL! Been there; done that and not doing that again, LOL!!! This time, I don't want to do that and try to get it all GM, and lump it into the monthly payment. It doesn't look as bad to the wifey

LT/RS, or SS/RS...TOTALLY dependant on price in 2-3 years.
No Z28 was ever in the stars for me, and it still isn't.

She does not rule out a supercharged camaro out right, perhaps only that it would not be a Z28. None the less it would appear that there is not going to be a supercharged Z28 Camaro, does this mean no camaro at all for some of you?

I am torn, I wanted the Camaro before the idea of the supercharged engine...then I wanted the supercharged 6.2 ltr engine...but no I dont know if I want a Camaro that a GT500 can spank around.

I don't get it. Do you not know how to mod a car? If not...shops do.

Buy some mods for the SS and.........

Opps That first sentence came out wrong, sorry. I would love them to have a 500Hp, but i would be happy with anything that would set me apart from the ss that every person will have. HELL YEAH I WANT TO CRUSH THE GT500. I would never tell you what you wanted! Brain was thinking to fast for the fingers.

I'm sure most of us are more than capable at moding the car to what we want. But some of us would rather have a factory built beast that we can drive the hell out of and take it back when there's a problem. Having built my own custom ride before, I totally get how cool it is to DIY. I also can see how cool it would be to order it from GM the way I want it and not have to go search for the stuff I want. There's a ton of piece of mind that comes with a car that is factory built to produce and handle all the power I want.

There's something special about a car manufacturer that is willing to put a 550 HP supercharged engine in a production car. From there the sky's the limit. I'd rather start the moding process from this point if I can.

That's why you never never never sell your stock parts. Mod it, have fun, if it breaks, put it back to stock and get it fixed for free.

Three digits for you...

Starts with a Z, and ends with a 1. have fun with that.

The Ford GT has more hp than a GT500, and has less than the vette...

Back to the threads topic, I would like the Z28, but don't think I'd be able to afford it. If I had the cash, you bet I'd take the top dog.

But, I'll be very happy with a highly modified SS.

So, I chose "fine with the SS," but my mind isn't made up...would have to see the pricing and base options.
