Unfortunatly It doesn't really matter because the Mustang people will always find some fault with the findings and will continue to claim they're faster, and the Camaro people will continue to insist they are faster since they now have proof.

This will just spark the same old arguments for both sides that we have gone through before.

It's just like religion. None of the sides will ever change or compromise.

So, here we go again.

I concede that it will never change. I will also say that the GT500 was able to accelerate better and hit higher top speeds. Clearly speed isn't everything though as the non-supercharged 1LE was only a second off the pace of the GT500.

These times are old.

Nonetheless, the GT500 is faster. ZL1 is just light years ahead of the GT500s suspension. 650hp vs 580hp, Chevrolet was proven a point with the ZL1. "Less is more" - Oprah Winfrey
