Going out on a limb here.. IF WE can get GM 20k orders for ZL1
we can have our BLUE or ABM equivalent back.

It has to start somewhere folks, might as well start here. It is a matter of numbers.
Numbers = $$$$ for GM. They need cold hard numbers here folks. People actually serious about buying CAMARO in blue, and not just a "I want a blue camaro," or "I WISH I had a blue camaro," or "My brother drives a blue camaro and is cool" NO. They need something to go by as far as real numbers here.
I would be the first to give up my planned IOM Camaro for a BRIGHT Blue Camaro. The name of the color is not important. Call it 82 corvette blue, 86 IROC Z blue, BRIGHT BLUE METALLIC, AQUA BLUE METALLIC, STRYKER BLUE METALLIC. The name of the blue is not important here. What is important is showing GM you are willing to take a step of "FAITH" and let GM know you will BUY A BLUE CAMARO IF THEY OFFER IT. Make sense?

Now. Who on here is willing to BUY a BLUE Camaro?
We need a show of hands here.

GM built 29,009 Camaros in 2001, the LOWEST in Camaros history...

its not back YET. I don't care for IBM. Its just another dark color to go with all the other dark colors we already have. Not being a hater, just saying.

I'll go out on a limb here and GUESS that the replacement for Cyber Grey (which had tiny blue specks in it) will be the Dark Titanium from their Silverados.

Fbodfather said it will be another member of the "gray" family and will be "richer." That would seem to me a prefect fit.

I honestly wouldn't expect any other blue besides IBM this year.

That said, I think their Light Blue Granite Metallic would be spectacular on ZL1.

Good luck, man. Kudos for screaming out what you want from the rooftops.

flashy car needs flashy colour. Lemans/Jetstream/Arrival...Blue needs to make an apperence.
Obviously there is ALOT of interest for a lighter shade of blue. the dark colours dont suit the camaro asmuch as the bright metallic colours...

Unfortunately the numbers do not support this..... Hence ABM being axed! Blue seems to be one of those colors that everyone likes but nobody wants as their own.

Good post. Here lies the problem. You can't really blame gm.
We wanted to know "why" and now we know. The only way to
Get gm to change this is the public has to do they're part and past
numbers reflect this. This is the very reason for the thread is to give
Camaro fans a chance to change the numbers.

If you want a light or medium blue, thats fine. But why would you post this in the ZL1 section?
