Pento Synthetic Oil for 2010 Camaro?

Has anyone even used Pento High Performance Oil for your Camaro? I use it for my BMW X5 and it is great. Pricy but it is used in many German performance cars such as BMW and Mercedes and Porsche. Just wondering if it would be good for the Camaro.

Because it's not GM approved Dexos 1, you "could" have an issue should you ever need warranty work on the engine.

Here is the listing of approved oils:

Thre isn't any reason to run highly over priced Pentosin when any of the off the shelf synthetics at walmart will perform just as good. Mobil 1, Castrol Edge or Pennzoil Ultra will all perform/work great for you and your SS. Mobil 1 can go the length of the OLM with ease and still be in great shape. Oil analysis reports do not lie. And on a side note, you can get Amsoil for a better price (if you do your research) than Pentosin and you will use a heck of a lot better oil.

My first change-out was with Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic; I can find it for much less than Mobil 1, and it will perform the same for daily driver purposes. Otherwise wouldn't go outside the list above even after warranty's up.

Interestingly, Royal Purple wasn't on the approved list, but people swear by it. I swear at it when I see the price of it at the auto store...

Cuz it is junk oil and falls at the very bottom of boutique synthetic oils. I'd run Walmart SuperTech Synthetic before I ran Royal Turdple.

It's not approved. It does meet/exceed the Dexos requirement though. No other oil is better IMHO.

Absolutely agree. Have you used the 0-30 signature series or do you run 5-30?
