Maggie or Whipple for Increasing Low End Torque
I am adding a blower cam later this year and I would also like to add a SC. I have heard that the Whipple gives you more low end torque sooner than the Maggie. I was told the Maggie is great but it kicks in on higher RMPs/speed than the Whipple.
Any opinions on this?

They both give a lot of low end torque.

Maggie is the low end torque monster.

Edelbrock e-force has the most low end torque. All in all it's a Maggie with 12 in runners witch give it a lot of low end power.

Take your pick, if your having them installed at a shop, I would say no real difference other then the Whipple can more easily support higher performance levels but with the right kits, the Maggie can support pretty much anything you want on stock or sub 416 CI engine displacements as well.
The Whipple can support larger displacement engines. If your doing the installation your self, I can tell you the Maggie is very doable for a home garage project. I installed mine with Ted at JRE doing the remote tuning, could not be happier. Both are great for low end torque, you really can not make a bad decision with these two.

I hear the Maggie has more low end torque, but the whipple has more power up top due to it increasing the psi at the higher rpms
