Took my Camaro on it's first road trip.
Minor issue , fuel gauge stopped working. Stopped for gas started the car all was
good. And then a short while later the gauge failed again and the engine light came on. So I will need to take it in. Any ideas on the issue? And any issues driving it back home 800 miles? |

Likely a faulty sensor. Shouldn't cause any harm.

The one trip that I monitored, I was getting just over 25. So yeah, pretty nice.

Car has been at the dealer 2 days, so far the tank was dropped to replace a sensor. And I mentioned I have had to put air in my tires 5x since owning the car 10 weeks. So there are looking into that and the clear coat coming off on the passenger fender below where it reads Camaro. And the last body issue the piece below the gills and the bottom of the car was bulging. (Both sides driver and passenger) Just thought I would share.
Mechanical and Body shop, they said would take 3 to 5 days. I recieved a brand new loaner, Cruze......I miss my Camaro. Last edited by boggs3010; 03-26-2014 at 11:34 PM. Reason: typos |

Sorry to hear that. Hope you get it back soon.
On the plus side, you are now likely getting 30+ mpg |

seriously... this happened to me this weekend. L.A. to Vegas. Gage stopped working for a bit. next time I turned on the car (a few hours later) CELL was on. Any resolution for your issue? I am no longer on 3/36..... 2011 with 40k
There is a thread about just the gage dropping out intermittently, without mention of CEL. |
