Nice timing. The new 2SS or maybe Z-28 (hint) will be nice on the Autobahn once I have it shipped. Of course, that is after the six month ownership in the US first or pay a 17% VAT import tax.

Yeah, but dodge has been comparing the SRT 392's performance with the Mustang GT500 and the RT with the SS camaro. They need a supercharged option to compete with the GT500 and the upcoming Z28.

That would be interesting, you could buy them from an OEM distributor once they were released and out for a few months. Mabye Chevy parts plus, GM Parts House, or one of the dealers on camaro5 could put a package together for 2010-2011 Camaro's wanting the performance suspension.

.....For what? Doesn't look like GM will EVER offer a decent blue on this car. Its ASSININE. If a bright blue metallic sucks so bad in sales, than why is Jetstream Blue offered on the Corvette? It's not rocket science GM, get with the program. Dodge has a new version of there old-school B5 Blue they now offer on the Challenger, and it looks fantastic. Not to mention, Dodge isn't afraid to offer Furious Fuschia as well. WE WANT A DECENT FREAKING BLUE GM!

I have asked this very question MANY times. The way it looks, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for LeMans Blue...or ANY decent blue for that matter. Nice going, GM.

This is the color they need to offer on the Camaro SS.
I'm seriously thinking of having my SS painted in Jetstream Blue Metallic. |

I agree with you HEAVY...I like the old school colors...looks Marina Blue..looks 68 Camaro
I know 90 percent of the folks on this forum like misty metallic black...like the Black Granite...but I was so disapointed when I got my 2009 Traverse..(as posted earlier)..and found out it was an metallic color...(I travelled a ways to get it and could not back out based on that fact).... .I like solid colors in black, white, and red...so that was the best black I could get. But any way...wheres the Corvette Bronze that looks like a washed out IOM Go retro...where's the real nice light gold metallic?????? |

I asked the same question of Chevy customer service people on line, their response was that Aqua Blue was discontinued in favor of Synergy Green and it looked to be that way for the immediate future. I'm just the messenger...

I've been waiting on this 2012 model year. If they offer Nav system and spice the interior up I'll be buying one or I'm finding a used 2010 and making my own changes to the inside.
GM made a awesome car from looks to performance(z28 comming), you all are driving the best muscle cars on the road. Glad they're not falling behind Ford and Dodge with the changes the Mustang(Interior and new v6 and v8s) and Challenger(new v6 and v8s) have undergone. |
